Cherry Bars
INGREDIENTS
Base:
1 package devils food cake mix
21oz can cherry fruit filling
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs beaten
Frosting:
1 cup sugar
5 tablespoon margarine or butter
1/3 cup milk
1 (6oz) cup choc chips
Preheat to 350
DIRECTIONS
Grease and flour 15x10/13x9 pan.
Pour base into pan.
Bake 20-30 min.
In small saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and milk.
Boil, stirring, for 1 min.
Remove from heat.
Stir in chips until smooth.
Pour over warm bars.
Makes 36 bars.
