Tea Ring
INGREDIENTS
I've added raisins, nuts, mar. cherries, dried fruit
1 recipe foundation sweet dough
Melted butter
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Coffee cake icing
Chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS
When dough is light, shape into 2 rectangular sheets about 1/4
in thick.
Brush w/ butter and sprinkle sugar/cinnamon.
Roll like jelly roll and bake into rings.
Place on greased baking sheet and cut with scissors at 1" intervals.
Turn slices slightly.
Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk.
Bake 375 for 25 min.
While warm, spread with icing and sprinkle with nuts.
Makes 2 rings.
