DIRECTIONS First day:
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shortening
Combine and cover with saran wrap.
Set in high place for next day.
DIRECTIONS Second day:
3/4c milk
1 egg
Heat oven to 375.
Grease round layer pan or sq pan.
Blend all ingredients except topping.
Beat vigorously 1/2 min.
Spread in pan.
Sprinkle topping over batter.
Bake 25-30 min or until done.
Topping:
Mix 1/3 cup brown sugar packed, 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon
cinnamon and tablespoon firm butter until crumbly.
Serve warm 9-12 servings.
