Baked Custard
INGREDIENTS
1 2/3 cup milk scalded
3 eggs
4 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
Scald milk 3 to 4 min full power or until
tiny bubbles appear around edges of cup.
Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar, salt and vanilla.
Slowly add milk.
Divide into custard cups.
Heat uncovered on roast 5 to 5.5 min, or until custard begins to boil.
Center becomes firm during standing.
Chill.
