Muffins
INGREDIENTS
3 cup flour
2 1/4 teaspoon yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup water
DIRECTIONS
Place in bread machine pan in order suggested by mfr, or as
above.
Select dough cycle.
When done (ours take 1 1/2 hours), remove.
Warm two frying pans on stove on med.
Add lots of butter to pan.
Make small roll sized dough lumps and place on frying pan.
Use both pans to cook all at same time.
Carefully watch, dough should rise some as it cooks.
When golden brown on one side, turn each over, adding more
butter.
When you think they're done, take one off and cut in half.
If they're still doughy, cook longer at lower heat.
Eat immediately with butter and jam.
Great with earl gray or breakfast blend tea.
