However, for myself and our relatives...They loved the format...I tried to include all the folksy comments I received from each person, even included some previous and I mean previous generation's spotted and page worn recipes. At a large family picnic where we gave out the cookbooks we noted it being poured over by all ages during the afternoon. Having the biographies and other comments is absolutely wonderful!
