After a lot of work by our development team, we’re now selling a new version of our software. I want to thank all the customers who contributed ideas. Some new features we’ve added:

  • We now offer the option to print onto recipe cards, in a choice of designs and sizes; 3″ x 5″ & 4″ x 6″.
  • You can make a customized banner for the header and footer of each recipe if you don’t want to use any of our templates - this will work on both full, half-page and recipe card sizes.
  • You can now print single recipes in any of the design styles, in full, half-page or recipe card format.
  • You can choose whether you want to print one recipe per page or have a continuous layout.
  • There is a conversion tool so that if you have a recipe for 6 people and you are suddenly feeding 9, Matilda will work out the quantities for you.
  • You can choose which recipes you want to print; so say you only want to print out your Grandmother’s recipes instead of all friends and family you can make separate books.
  • And our ‘piece de resistance’ the symbol builder is on screen for as long as you wish and will make typing quarter, teaspoon tablespoon 350 degrees etc.etc. a real cinch!

It still has that simple, easy interface that everybody seems to love. We’ll be updating the home page of CookbookPeople.com with a new demo shortly.

We’ll be adding an upgrade pricing to our existing customers in the coming week, so please be patient. However, if you are a new customer, you’ll get the new version right now!

I’ve tried your free software and like hearing about the new updates. I especially like being able to place multiple recipes per page. I’m wondering if you included a spell checker with update.

Thanks,
ME

I have been collecting recipes from my whole family and have requested them to be hand written so I can scan them. Once scanned they will be in a PDF format, can they be inserted instead of me typing all the recipes?

Can I select more than 1 design page?
For example if I have Mexican dishes can I select Fiesta for my design and then select Flowers for some of the others, and so on, or do I have to stick to 1 design for the entire book?

I have purchased your software, however all I get is where I can add, delete, print, etc. Nothing shows up about the actual software itself. Do I need to reload the disc and if I do will I lose the recipes I’ve already typed. Perhaps all I am supposed to have is the page showing the cookie in the upper left hand corner??????

Hi, Vi-
To answer your first question, yes you can mix and match.
Your second question I’m a little confused about. It’d be easier to discuss this in our forum:

I’m sorry I’m being a bit thick, but would you mind re-wording the question there? I’ll be happy to help out.
